Setting up Notifications and additional options is one of the last steps to getting your calendar up and running!
Note - Creating Appointment notifications in workflows can be way more customizable and is the prefered method for most users.
Select the type of notification
You can select the type of email notification you want to send out.
Appointment Notifications
One can choose precisely who should receive notifications regarding upcoming appointments. These notifications typically include the contact, assigned user, and/or additional email contact. The ability to tailor these notifications ensures that the right individuals stay informed, a valuable asset for businesses and organizations.
Google Invitations and Updates:
For users integrated with Google Calendar or similar platforms, the choice to enable automatic invitations or updates to attendees is available. This streamlines the process of notifying participants about any alterations to appointments or inviting them to scheduled events, enhancing overall efficiency.
Staff Member Assignments
Some appointment scheduling systems offer the option to automate the assignment of clients or contacts to specific staff members or service providers when appointments are booked. This feature ensures that appointments are distributed equitably or based on predefined criteria, contributing to a more organized workflow.
Allow Rescheduling
If you want to give the option to reschedule, check this box. It will send a rescheduling link along with the confirmation email. This can also be done manually in your CRM.
Allow Cancellations
If you want to give the option to cancel the appointment, check this box. It will send a cancellation link along with the confirmation email. This can also be done manually in your CRM.
Additional Appointment Notes
If you'd like to add additional notes to the appointment details, you can add them here. This is great for adding context to the appointment, requesting additional information to be brought to the appointment, or any other information that may need to be added after the appointment is booked.
